Fitness studio Cardio Barre will open for business in Overton Square on Oct. 28.

The new studio, located at 2105 Madison Ave., Suites 200-210, will host exercise classes which combine barre work and light weights.

“The workout is unlike anything else I’ve ever experienced,” said Allison Steward^[1] , franchisee of Cardio Barre Memphis, in a news release. “I was introduced to it while dancing in LA and have been hooked ever since.”

Steward studied dance at Loyola Marymount University and danced professionally in Los Angeles.

Cardio Barre Memphis is offering free classes through Nov. 3. The fitness studio signed its 2,310-square-foot lease at the resurgent Overton Square in June.^[2]
