Yoga classes on USC's campus can help relieve school stress with many different poses and stretches.
"It's a great way to not only relax and get out your stress," said USC Ph.D student Katherine Guevara. "But it's also a phenomenal workout."
Yoga may seem to require a lot of flexibility, but students definitely do not have to be an expert to challenge their mind and body.
Instructor Sasha Flamm makes sure each student can work at their own pace to ensure even beginners will succeed in the class.

"I think a lot of people don't want to give it a shot at first if they haven't done it," she said. "Maybe they have a preconceived notion of what it is, so I'd say just come to a class and try it out."
This peaceful class will leave people clear-minded and ready to take on any task throughout the day. The class helps Guevara with her hard schedule every week.
"When I have my own classes to attend and my own work to do, I'll be able to do that with a calm and centered mind."
Students can find out more about the classes the Lyon Center offers online[1] .
