Gurney’s Inn, [1] the upscale resort and spa in Montauk, N.Y., set on 11 acres along the Atlantic Ocean, is trying to attract guests during its fall and winter off-season with two packages. With the Seawater Spa Getaway, available from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31, guests can book either one night for $449 a person, which includes $245 for spa treatments, or two nights for $799 a person, which includes $400 for treatments.
The spa has Thalassa therapies, uses ocean water in the indoor Olympic-size pool and Roman baths and offers services like a sea-water herbal bath, organic seaweed facial and algae body polish. The rate also includes ocean-view accommodations and breakfast and dinner.
The second offer is a yoga and spa retreat from Nov. 22 to 24, which costs $400 a person and includes a stay in an oceanfront room, breakfast and dinner daily, use of the spa facilities and several yoga classes for both beginner and advanced students.
