Where kids are welcome to exercise


AtlantiCare LifeCenter, in the AtlantiCare Health Park in Egg Harbor Township


•Membership available for children age 14 to 18


•KIDS 360 Membership Program for ages 7 to 13, includes small group exercise programs


•One-on-one personal training/sports training for ages 7 to 18 aimed at enhancing agility, speed and strength

Bridge Wellness, part of the Seaville Family Center Complex in Upper Township


•Dance and karate classes for ages 4 to 18 available throughout the week.


•Core Fit class for teenagers


•11 a.m. Saturdays.


•Mommy and Me hourlong exercise class for ages 4 to 7 and their caregivers 10 a.m. the second Saturday of every month. Cost $10 for mother and child.

Tilton Fitness in Northfield, Galloway Township and Manahawkin facilities.


•Kids Fit, for ages 6 to 12, works on speed and agility training. Children play sports games and are active. There is pool time once per week.


•Sports in Shorts develops agility, balance, coordination, speed and strength to give athletes an edge in this sports-conditioning class.


•Swim lessons and personal training for the children also available.
