Gift-making workshop – “Standing Light” with Loretta Vizzutti, the first of three “Creativity for Life” gift-making workshops, will be held Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Living Art of Montana, 725 W. Currents Aquatics Center – A full schedule of swim lessons and fitness classes will be offered this fall. Programs include Aquacize, pre-competitive swim school, CPR/first aid training and lifeguarding classes. Swim lessons for ages 6 months through adult begin Sept. 14. Double Trouble in Recovery – The 12-step program for people with mental health and addiction issues meets at 3 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at the Winds of Change Recovery Mall, 2685 Palmer St., No. C (second floor). Coffee is provided. For more information, call Veronica at 721-2038.


Gentle yoga class – The Missoula Senior Citizens Center, 705 S. Higgins Ave., offers a class that focuses on balance training, back strength and core conditioning through gentle yoga matwork every Tuesday and Thursday at 9 a.m. and Friday at 9:15 a.m. Fee is $3 per class. National Alliance on Mental Illness – The NAMI Family and Friends support group meets every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon. Call 543-3055 for more information.


Overeaters Anonymous – Local meetings include 7 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 202 Brooks St. Everyone who wants to stop eating compulsively is welcome. There are no dues, weigh-ins or lectures. For more meeting information, visit oa.org.


Tai Chi – The Missoula Academy of T’ai Chi Ch’uan offers classes and private instruction for all skill levels; beginners welcome.
