Rhino Fitness now offering Silver Sneakers


Rhino Fitness of Wentzville is now offering a no-cost membership plan to people enrolled in the SilverSneakers program. SilverSneakers is offered by several health insurance companies to their members age 65 and over, eligible for Medicare.


According to Randy Putzler, certified personal trainer and senior fitness specialist at Rhino Fitness, “The Silver Sneakers program is a perfect way for seniors to maintain and even improve their health. Regular exercise can increase strength, mobility and balance. It can reduce the risk of falling or injury, help people feel more energetic, improve posture, reduce pain in joints and stiffness in movement, lower blood pressure, and reduce the risk of serious or chronic diseases.”


A Silver Sneakers membership at Rhino Fitness includes 24-hour club access, free Silver Sneakers group exercise classes and free monthly fitness education opportunities. Optional personal training and nutritional counseling are also available for Silver Sneakers members at a discounted senior rate.

CarMax opens new St. Peters store


CarMax has opened a new store at 4990 North Service Road in St. Peters. The store has more than 250 vehicles on the lot and brings more than 60 jobs to the area.
