Atlanta’s Department of Parks and Recreation Kicks-Off Coca-Cola’s Troops for Fitness Program

City of Atlanta to employ military veterans to lead free fitness and health classes at select Atlanta recreation centers. The City of Atlanta’s Office of Recreation will employ military veterans to lead residents in active lifestyles through Coca-Cola’s Troops for Fitness program. Through this program, Atlanta residents are offered free fitness classes at select Atlanta recreation centers where military veterans will serve as fitness and wellness instructors. The program is comprised of three-month session of strength training, yoga, dancercise and boot camp classes. The fitness classes will be offered at five recreation locations: Center of Hope at Adamsville, Center of Hope at Ben Hill, Coan Park Recreation Center, Center of Hope at Peachtree Hills and Center of Hope at Rosel Fann.
