Fitness Tip of the Day: Pre-Run Nutrition


Heading out for a run and don't want to stuff yourself, yet you need to fuel up to get you through your workout? Try these staple snacks to provide enough energy and keep you satisfied through your workout:


1. Rice Cakes with almond butter. Low in fiber, they won't upset your stomach and the peanut butter will provide enough protein to keep you satisfied.


2. Bananas or apples with peanut butter.


3. Dried fruit


4. Yogurt


5. Oatmeal


6. Half or mini bagels with cheese
