Seminar provides tips for brain fitness - YourWestValley.com

Sun Health will sponsor a seminar on brain fitness from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 2 in Arizona Room 4 at Fairway Recreation Center, 10600 W. Peoria Ave., Sun City.

Cameron Svendsen will offer tips to help maximize brain power that are designed to keep minds sharp for a lifetime. She will point out that the idea that brains inevitably deteriorate as we age isn’t necessarily true. However, we must commit to a regimen of preventative activities throughout our older years to sustain healthy cognitive functioning.

To register, call 623-455-5633 or visit www.sunhealth.org[1] and click “Community Education” at the top of the page.

The Sun Health Community Education Series presents free ongoing health and wellness programs on a variety of health care, healthy living and personal and financial safety topics focused on seniors.

Events occur several times each month at locations across the West Valley and are presented as a community service. Events with fewer than 10 reservations are subject to cancellation. We make every effort to avoid cancellations, but if one does occur, we will contact all registered attendees in advance.
